Disgusted, not surprised, expecting this would happen. The psycho family that preys together, stays together.

Great meme addendums explaining the wrongdoings tip of the iceberg! Worst traitors in over 200 years of American history. Wish they could get the traditional punishment for treason!

Biden, as well as being one of Washington's leading crooks, is one of DC's leading, if not the leading, hypocrite. About the time he co-sponsored that bill that has sent so many to jail he was exposed as a plagiaristic. So he's a cheap, hypocritical crook. End of.

Nice Monday roundup. If you didn't see Biden pardoning his son, you are blinder than Stevie Wonder. I can't believe the "shock" in the media, as if this is the *one thing* that makes the Democrat Party look absolutely corrupt. (On a personal note, I don't really care if Biden pardons his son. I think I'd honestly think less of him if he didn't. What father wouldn't? But I also know he did it because of what would come out in the tax evasion case. Maybe Biden should have pardoned himself and his brother while he was at it.)

Dirty Joe will undoubtably pardon his brother on January 20 and he is probably conferring with his lawyers to see if he can pardon himself for being part of the racket he and the rest of his corrupt and perverted family participated in.

Pardoning himself? I remember them worrying about a certain other guy pardoning himself. Funny how the worm doth turn.

It was only barely a pardon for Hunter - it was mostly a pardon for Joe. Rumor has it Hunter's lawyers said he'd spill everything without the pardon, but......you know how rumors are.

Expand full comment
Justin's avatar

I question whether the extent of the pardon is even legal, given that pardons only work for federal CONVICTIONS. Since he hasn't been convicted of any Burisma shenanigans (and they could also be FOREIGN charges), the pardon's shouldn't work.

Unless the current DOJ was to move very fast to proceed with federal charges so that the pardon DOES become effective, I don't see how this is going to pass muster. And also, if it doesn't apply, he might not lose his 5th amendment protections.

Cheryl Schroeder's avatar

I hope you are right about the convictions part, because there is so much more that never was addressed. My husband says they ( Biden family criminals) will never be held accountable like they deserve. We are ignorant of the law but seems like this pardon is too far reaching & being used mainly as a coverup

Expand full comment
Lillia Gajewski's avatar

It will likely hold unless a state decides to charge him with something. However, given the strange coincidence that the pardon begins right around the time of the Maidan coup in 2014, when Obama was still in office, it's a great place for the current DOJ to start digging. As I said, Biden should have pardoned himself and his brother Jim. And who knows who else shook down the Ukrainian government in this time. You don't pull off a CIA-driven color revolution on a VP's say so.

Sorry, my HB meme isn't fit to print.

We knew it was bound to happen, Joey's been a liar and cheat his whole career. I wish I could read a history of this time-frame in about 50, 75 or so years from now. Maybe my 16 year old granddaughter, now a newly declared, democrat, might read the histories and come to her senses in 2074.

Still think there must be full scale investigations into the Biden crime family. Even if Joey does extend pardons to his brother and other family members and also tries to include himself.

It's why he always did so badly in primaries.

Everyone points to Kamala's usurpation of the nomination but really, Joe ran in 16 and in 20 (and before that IIRC) to thunderous silence. Bernie et al were burned twice as the Dems stepped over the room to try to install their creatures. This was not lost on us 'Bernie Bros' (LOL, protip, it wasn't just men, although they tried to paint it that way, one of my first introductions to their shiny new gender provocations). That's why I voted the way I did this time (hell, it's why I voted) it was to overwhelm the machinery that was not allowing us our nominations.

But Joe never really got the primary vote. Nor did Kamala, Nor did Hillary. They were being forced on us. Thank you america for just saying no.

Expand full comment
SimulationCommander's avatar

Yep. Amy and Pete dropped out just before Super Tuesday, "coalescing" the establishment vote around Biden and beating Sanders.

Expand full comment
baker charlie's avatar

The Dems have gotten really weird about primaries. They will do anything to either silo them against outside, independent thought (caucus) and if that doesn't work they will ignore the will of the people to install who they want.

Expand full comment
SimulationCommander's avatar

Primaries are when it's still legal to 'cheat', because technically the primaries are private events run by private parties. They could have come out and named Hillary as the nominee and there's not a damned thing anybody could do about it -- the only price they would pay would be political.

Expand full comment
baker charlie's avatar

And that is why I despise political parties as they stand now.

They can subvert the will of the people to elevate drunk wine moms who did sexual favors for social and political adulation because they are party creatures. Can't wait for the Epstein and Diddy lists to be made public.

Parties need to serve the electorate, not the other way around, but I suspect I am decades out of date at this point.

Me, I am reasonably worried that Puppet Kamala willl pull some shit in between encounters with her wine box (I have probably seen wasted pols before, those old school bastards could hold their liquor). Sorry. It just slunk on out of me like a dime bag in a White House sofa.

Anyway. Ate the first Julbord (Yule Supper, lots and lots and lots of dishes!) of the year yesterday at an old-fashioned restaurant up on a mountain. Here's all the dishes in order of serving, sans the candy&cakes&cookies-buffet:

1. Brantevik-style pickled herring; Mustard-pickled herring; Onion-pickled herring; Hausfrau-style pickled herring; Matjessill (a local kind of - you guessed it - pickled herring)

2. Juniper-graved salmon; Dill- and cognac graved salmon; hard-boiled eggs with mayo and shrimps; smoked salmon; poached fjell-charr; Skagentårta*; Hovmästarsås**

3. Jul-ham; Jellied veal; Smoked reindeer-heart; Graved moose; Bear sausage; Moose salami; Paté of game; sweet honeymustard and sharp mustard; beet root salad (more like red beet-root slaw)

4. Meatballs; Wieners (called Prince-sausages); Side of pork; Jansson's temptation***; Cream-stewed leaf cabbage; stewed red cabbage

5. Lutfisk (the lye-marinated fish) served with boiled potatoes, butter, white pepper sauce/gravy, and cumin, plus freshly ground horseradish and green peas

That's the tradition. Feast, even if poor, to celebrate life. The idea was, by clamouring and feasting and enjoying life during the season of Death (Winter), Freja would awaken from her slumber and return with life and love.

That's why the Jul-feast at Julafton was from the 21st to the 24th originally (pre-Christian), since the longest night is on 21st to 23rd; after that, you can visibly perceive the days getting longer. And Freja brought Sun back, her symbol being a fire-wheel, alt called a Sun-wheel, a circle with a cross inside it, the ends at each arm touching the inner rim.

When it's /really/ cold, under -35C, and if the atmospheric conditions are right, you can see such a wheel forming around the Sun. It is overwhelming.

Also, another reason for feasting was that all the food from Summer and Autumn would have started to go by December, so might as well eat it all and subsist on root vegetables, rye/barley gruel and fish until Spring.
