We had a bengal mix who used to do that same thing, usually with a towel he would drag out of the laundry accompanied by the strangest yowling. Somewhere in my HD storage I have a meme we made of a picture of him with his towel and his 'brother' cat sitting nearby looking at us saying, ' Mooooom! He's doing THAT again!"

"...it should be clear that your security starts with you." Very well said. And that could go for pretty much everything else as well. Your health care (and your own health), your sustenance, your housing, your clothing, your "safety", whether you work and prosper or not, and the list goes on and on... it *all* starts with you! People who look to government to "save them" from everything never ever ever have any kind of liberty.

Pro-tip: if you've got access to a machine shop and the right know-how (and prefereably a circle of trustworthy friends), simple fully automatic weapons are wuite easy to produce.

Yes, you will have blockages and stoppages to a much higher degree than with commerical weapons, and you need to secrue materials and opportunity for safely testing the guns, but those are pratical matters easily overcome both in city and countryside.

Look up blueprints for the old Sten gun f.e. or the various polish weapons produced by their resistance duing the war. I mean, if afghan hill tribes can have weaponsmiths and make ammunition, independent-minded people in a high-tech nation should have no problem and no excuse.

Similarly, lots of explosive compounds are easy to make (and very dangerous, don't even try unless you know what you're doing and don't do big batches! - as in never!), as is smoke & gas. Chlorine and white spirits releases chlorine gas which you empathetically do not want to breathe if you like living.

Not that I'm advocating terrorism or anything, I'm just pointing out (using experience from my own youth) how very easy it is to actually do something more than talk about what you could do.

Which leads to the second point: that's why the opposition, from people like Trudeau to the black nazis of BLM to moslems are so succesful: they are actually doing things, and everyone of their footsoldiers are committed and takes it for the team and the cause.

The exact opposite to what the various Ranians, libertardians and similar are doing. Those who dares wins, and victory forgives all.

All he needs is to wear a face diaper when someone shoots him in the face. I'm sure it will protect him better than a pistol. 🤪

Trudeau holds onto to power as a minority govt. He now has a sort of coalition, a deal, with a small party that will guarantee majority votes in the House of Commons. That may last two more years; or it may come crashing apart under circumastances that favour either the Libs or the NDP. So the timing of the fall of the minority govt is up in the air. The deal that was made may have a timeline so as to accomplish the agenda they have agreed upon, however, much can happen. Two years is an eternity in federal politics.

The leader of the small party, the NDP, is not as firmly entrenched in his position as Trudeau appears to be. This undermines the deal at the getgo. Remove Singh early and all bets could be off. Shake the apparent solidarity of the Lib backbenchers; or the NDP backbenchers; and a new leadership race might intrude for either party.

So, to answer your question, in two years, give or take unforeseen but likely scenarios.

Just when you think he has reached the pinnacle of suck, like it is not possible for him to suck any worse, he finds a way to break through another suck ceiling. He really is the absolute suckiest. And it's a broad field.

Our 'dear leader' is only a figurehead. A failed drama teacher with a substantial trust fund. Never worked a day in his life. And doesn't know anyone who does. Absolute lack of understanding of any topic related to the real world. I agree, Mr. Turdo epitomizes suck. But the invisible puppeteers who pull his strings are the truly evil ones.

Eventually, the tyrants must be overthrown, and by force, no tyrant ever acknowledges any will other than their own - either that, or abject enslavement and misery.

“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”

Freddie was a solid and sane anti-authoritarian. He managed to walk the line, just so, and accompished a great deal of lasting good for his country by his words and conduct in supporting the exercise of liberty safeguarded in the text and framework of the US Constitution. Today, in Canada, the enslavement grows as people comply. It may shrink, eventually, but it will not end and will always be a threat, constitution or no constitution. This is the biggest lesson that the Trudea regime has made obvious for Canadians.

When do they vote again?

The short answer is anywhere between now and 2025.

Sorry if this too long-winded... The last election was September 2021 and The Turd has a minority government, but he's propped up by favourite stooge, Jagmeet Singh and his even-further-left NDP party. In normal times we would have looked forward to an election within approximately 2 years because minority governments typically don't last much longer than that, but Jagmeet sold out (probably to guarantee his pension) and agreed to prop him up till the full four year cycle concludes in September 2025, however the agreement can be broken.
