Harvard's a Little Less Gay In 2024
She would have gotten away with it if it weren't for the meddling kids!
Claudine Gay has resigned as president of Harvard in the face of mounting evidence she’s a serial plagiarist. Ever the DEI loyal soldier, in her resignation letter (maybe I should say…in the resignation letter she turned in?), Gay blamed racism for causing an unnecessary distraction from learning while ALSO not admitting fault for her situation:
Note that Gay will actually stay employed at the college, much like University of Pennsylvania’s Liz Magill. And the DEI industry will, for now, continue to limp along trying to defend its necessarily racist outlook. (I believe the entire industry is doomed because elevation of superficial characteristics over merit can only end one way. I had hoped Gay would cling to her job long enough for it to happen basically immediately.)
Speaking of spiraling industries trying to save themselves from irrelevance, CNN’s Matt Egan shares possibly the dumbest take to date on Gay’s situation:
Claudine Gay isn’t stealing people’s IDEAS, just the words they write! Those words could be ANYTHING! You wouldn’t call it plagiarism if you copy your grandmother’s pancake recipe, would you? Stop being racist against the woman who literally plagiarized in the acknowledgements section of her dissertation!
I guess it’s no surprise Gay takes no responsibility at all for her situation, as effort wasn’t responsible for getting her the job in the first place — by her (and DEI’s) metrics, she’s exactly as qualified today as the day she was hired.
While I’ve got your attention, I might as well point out that California is speeding up their collective suicide:
Next up: California officials being ‘baffled’ about why so many illegals are showing up, then costs that obliterate all estimates, followed by a demand for a federal bailout.

Shamelessly "borrowed" from a WSJ commenter:
I thought her Letter of Resignation had an interesting passage: "It is with a heavy heart but a deep love for UPenn that I write to share that I will be stepping down as president. This is not a decision I came to easily. But, after consultation with members of the Corporation, it has become clear that it is in the best interests of UPenn for me to resign so that our community can navigate this moment of extraordinary challenge with a focus on the institution rather than any individual." Sincerely Claudine Gay
Thanks for publishing her woke resignation letter. I highlighted this section:
"What we need to build a better future ... is to confirm our commitment to open inquiry and free expression in the pursuit of truth."
Thinks about Harvard in times of Covid. No one with a brain thinks "open inquiry" and the "pursuit of truth" are guide stones for this university.
This college and its faculty exist solely to block open inquiry and to conceal all truths.
