Edited the article to add AJ Kay's awesome essay, in which you can read this gem:
You can’t blame “fog of war” when you walk around with a fog machine mounted to your back. Likewise, “We were in the dark!” loses plausibility when you block everyone’s access to the light switch.
I gotta say, SimCom, all of your followers posts today have given me a lot of big smiles…… I mean between banter and outrageous likes and dislikes and the annoying irks that some have expressed it’s like I’m watching a good movie………do you suppose that you bring the ornery (but not harmful) out of people? I have nothing to contribute except to say that you really have the best followers.
Screaming into the void sounds like my thoughts on the pandemic which were "screaming into a hurricane. I think Covid as more of a hurricane of panic. And people refused to listen..unless it was a news report describing how fast and lethal the wind was blowing of the metaphorical hurricane.
I’m a nobody who just reads a bit. I sent an email to my family members BEFORE the jabs were available telling them that people were dropping dead from the shot, so don’t get it. So I had the info as a nobody who just reads a few things and listens to a few people.
This is so fucking shady I'm starting to suspect the FBI is involved.
It's not surprising they'd try to call this guy right-wing, he's an illegal immigrant who lives in Berkley and is literally insane. He's basically California's poster boy. If somebody like THAT can attack a Pelosi, they'd have to admit there's a problem.
And I have a question. Why *is* the FBI involved? It was an FBI special agent that did the "interrogating," per the criminal complaint. I realize that Pelosi's husband was involved, but I didn't realize that required FBI presence, especially since the last I heard the police said they still didn't know a motive and for all they know it was a local issue.
"The issue is that people like Emily (who claims to be “Unapologetically Data-Driven”) didn’t actually go and look at that data themselves (or didn’t understand it when they did)."
I personally think a lot of these individual actors were paid by HHS to spread the real misinformation. We know that the networks were paid, why not the talent? Lester Holt probably pulled in millions, to save America, of course. Emily Oster has over 100k followers on Twitter, I'm gonna guess she was chipped off a nice check. Kinda weird Emily was so busy tweeting about masks for years she couldn't predict runaway inflation, you know, unless her real job was pushing the Official Covid Narrative, brought to you by Biden-Pfizer.
I completely agree with you, and I alluded to something like this in a previous comment. It's not going to be pretty if/when that 'pay them off' list goes public -- especially if the data continues to get worse.
Edit: The allusion so you don't have to search:

Deep down, I'm sure people like Emily know there are some damning emails just waiting to be revealed that expose the sheer magnitude of government applying pressure.
Hell, maybe some of those emails are still on Emily's computer.
People like her are going to begging for a dictatorship to say their Benedict Arnold asses. Because once the shots were mandated and then they started spiking kids, the low-level actors unwittingly inserted themselves into a potential maelstrom of revenge. Gates will skate, he's too rich. But Oster, guys like Shapiro (yeah, I think his change of heart is a little too coincidental to the news that came out of Europe that Pfizer didn’t check for transmission reduction) they were proshot, and if those influencers turn out to be paid actors, people with maimed kids won't forget. I'm just an old man, my wife and I never had any kids, but I I had to live through the horror the parents of Maddie de Garay, I dont know what I would do. It's been bad enough, two good friends of mine died of cardiac events in the last year, both in their mid 50s. Could just be their age. But kids with strokes???
You've just touched on my fighting back strategy for this. (Still in the process of translating from brain to page) The school boards and the local councils and whoever will ultimately be on the hook for these mandates. The CDC already gave the game away when they said "We don't mandate" -- they're not going to back these districts when the inevitable happens. If nothing else, we have to convince them that if they rubber stamp this (without even being paid off like the big boys), they'll be the ones twisting in the wind when parents start demanding answers.
I think they're all terrified of losing the midterms and therefore control over literally all the information. Deep down, I'm sure people like Emily know there are some damning emails just waiting to be revealed that expose the sheer magnitude of government applying pressure.
Hell, maybe some of those emails are still on Emily's computer.
I'm glad that Emily wrote her article. Because now the floodgates can open, and all of the pent-up, putting up with insanity can be loosened upon the ones who fed and went along with the madness.
It was and is madness! We're not going to just "let that go."
Yeah, we are supposed to forgive when they repent. That is what we are looking for. I know forgiveness is for us, but nonetheless it really works best when we do it together, and not when the perpetrators don't apologize, and then try to shift blame onto us for holding onto our pain.
I realize that some will repent and some will not. But we are at that point now, where if we are going to come together to heal, we can't blame the victims for refusing to pretend that none of this happened.
When I clicked on your headline: about the CDC director getting Covid rebound - I got an "ACCESS DENIED" page from Reuters informing me I "do not have permission to read this". So I'm just going to assume Director Walensky was stupid enough to follow her own advice by taking Paxlovid without bothering to research its repercussions --- totally in line with all the other scientific policies her dept. is now famous for.

edited for 100% more more truth: it’s “selective pandemic amnesia” time
We have all been wanting someone we could scream at. Thanks, Em.

I'm not exactly sure how it all ended up coming together, but it sure is awesome :)
Exactly.

And thank you for the link to the AJ Kay article.
My only beef with AJ is that she doesn't post nearly enough!
I'm curious what you think about the criminal complaint that they just filed against Depape. I, personally, have the feeling they're railroading a psychologically unstable man just to push a narrative and keep the Pelosis from being embarrassed, but have I just gone off into the paranoid abyss? The document can be found in this Fox article: https://www.foxnews.com/us/paul-pelosi-attacker-told-investigators-he-planned-break-house-speakers-kneecaps-affidavit.

Well, nice to know I'm not crazy.

especially when they have spent all the money

I think that the elementary and secondary school level is the only way to stop the mandates for covid, and eventually, all the vaccines.
I hope the country can survive the fight, but I'm not too sure we can, or even should.
Read the article. Summation: “Forgive us! That’s an order and don’t expect us to apologize because we are still better than you!”
Thanks so much. I really enjoy the daily doses of rational thought.
Wait! They couldn’t fucking LEAVE! OH, Ungovernable might have something to say about that shit! (Where’s the damn gun emoji when I need it?)
Oster wanting to avoid the rope?

You're going places
Probably to the re-education camps. You see, I've always loved Big Brother, I just don't know it yet!
You'll meet some hilarious folks😎😎😎😅😂
I think I might enjoy it
I, personally, have had enough. I can forgive, but pretend like it didn't happen? Sans issue, mon ami!
I can forgive... But those who coerced vax, or publically advocated it... Gotta face Nuremberg trials.
Ill visit them on death wing
I like your mind……..
You're the best.. I've see your posts for awhile
I’ve been around………..lurking

Forgiveness is highly overrated. Well-aimed hatred is a useful emotion.
Oh, God, I love what you just said………big smiles

Interesting. The link has been re-established. Not sure if it was them moving the page or me screwing up the initial link. Should be good now!
lol, no ties for us!
