So after a harrowing weekend in which Bonnie seemed to disappear (no sightings/no food consumption), she has finally made an appearance today — like nothing ever happened. Strange how humans can get so worried about stray animals, I’ve had this pit in my stomach the last few days that’s finally subsiding!
Sadly the pit in my stomach that I get when I think about Joe Biden being president does not vanish as quickly. Tonight (9 PM EST) he makes another State of the Union speech, and I’ll be there to “cover” it live so you don’t have to subject yourself to the pain.
Can’t wait until tonight for some old-fashioned Biden mocking? Take a look at last year’s article!
I guess one small victory is that this year we won’t have to watch Pelosi get all excited about American soldiers getting harmed overseas. However, the odds that Biden claims (again) that the vaccines will stop the spread are 50/50.
What do you think Biden will talk about tonight? How amazing the country has been doing under his leadership, and how much better off we’d be if we could just get rid of those pesky Republicans? Blaming Trump for inflation?
The State of the Union has always been a truth-resistant spectacle, but in these days of a “post-truth” world, Biden’s lies are only limited by his imagination.
SC - "I’ve had this pit in my stomach the last few days that’s finally subsiding!"
With a live in familiar, try tolling the breakfast and dinner triangle five days with no response. Most likely wandered into a nearby open garage, got locked in. TIME for Ms B and Mr G to shack up? https://youtu.be/GG2tZNOQWAA?t=340
Was a display of ignorance of how things work. And an embarrassing display of linear thinking when discussing non-linear (complex) systems.
