Apologies for the “retweet”, but this is an amazing thread detailing FBI malfeasance in the Ethan Nordean trial……
This sort of thing is right up our alley!

Also, Matt Taibbi was in front of Congress today talking about Twitter Files.
The entire hearing is here (almost 3 hrs): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etvy-38jq3s
Some video highlights:
-------------
Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) refers to @mtaibbi and @ShellenbergerMD as "so-called journalists."

--------------
Taibbi fires back: "I'm not a so-called journalist. I've won the National Magazine Award, the I.F. Stone Award for Independent Journalism, and I've written 10 books."

-------------------------
"Oh, so because you spent years as Rolling Stone's star investigative reporter, won the most prestigious journalism awards, and wrote 10 books on politics, now you're a journalist?
Sir, when's the last time you published a CIA or DNC press release?"

Thanks for relaying this. Since I'm not on Twitter it's news to me! .. but sadly not surprising.
BTW as much as Twitter has undergone significant changes for the better for the most part, with some caveats, I still won't sign up for an account. Due to number of laws currently implemented and currently being pushed very hard among the states and fed gov (mostly by the conservative side this time), that few are aware of, Twitter et. al will sooner or later require gov issued ID verification to use. Depending on the scope of the rules, which can easily change later when the fundamental laws are in place, it can easily extend onto Substack, forums, and any centralized service entity that allows user generated content.
Edit: forgot to mention there's also the upcoming EU's DSA that Twiiter must comply with by September 2023, and Canada's C-18 and more significantly, C-11
