Maybe he would like to start advocating for the 10th Amendment as well, thereby reducing the size of the federal government by an enormous amount.

The "Pack the Court" video is why democracies fail. Mob rule, tyranny of the majority is why the US Constitution has been critical. The minority, in this case an unborn child, needs protection.

9th amendment: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people". I take that to mean that there are more rights to be defined by future laws and governments democratically.

The left's interpretation is that anything not mentioned in the Constitution is therefore a "retained" right (unless they disagree with it). Really? Like public nudity or driving without a seat belt. Or beating your dog. Constitution didn't mention those so I guess it's included in your right to privacy. Makes zero sense.

it's hilarious he brings up the right to privacy in context of the 9th amendment considering he's so intent on removing our 1st amendment rights.

not to mention that his 1995 "anti crime" bill and the p.a.t.r.i.o.t. act he helped write both blatantly destroy our constitutional rights to privacy in favor of the Security State surveillance capabilities.

he's such a tool, and doesn't hesitate to lie through his teeth at any time his actions conflict with the law.

Except that the Court, aside from being a political joke, is already rigged, as are the elections. Packing it would make no difference, maybe even a good thing, open people's eyes to the farce that it is.

It is a truth universally unacknowledged that everyone wants to be Ruler of the Universe and believes everyone else is unfit for the role.

Heck, I'd like to be Empress of same. I can't point to any nation anywhere I feel is being governed appropriately.

But I'll admit for the trazillionth time that granted the inherent flaws in human nature when any of us anywhere tries to come together and build a society, them dead white men who wrote our Constitution and created its failsafes were maybe smarter and more prescient than, like, anyone else ever.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I have literally zero desire to be "Ruler of the Universe". Besides being a lot of damn work, I'd be an awful ruler. I just want the government to get the hell out of my life and let me do my thing.
